Lenten Bible Study (Wednesdays)

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday. The Christian tradition was to being the 40 day journey (excluding the Sundays) to Easter with a commitment to turn away from sin and to embrace more fully life the of the Gospel. The traditional ritual of Ash Wednesday was to receive the sign of the cross on the forehead with ashes that came from the palms used in the previous Palm Sunday.
We won’t use ashes but I would like to invite you to join a Lenten bible study on Wednesday evenings beginning on Ash Wednesday. We would do this only through zoom and we would meet from 7:30 to 8:30pm. We will look at the Sunday scriptures that will be used in our worship services.
