At the very center of Chalice Christian Church is our worship on Sundays. Though the worship service varies from week to week, there are a few elements that are always present--scripture, the preached word, community prayers, and communion (the Lord's Supper). We are a friendly and relaxed group of people, celebrating diversity in our midst.

Worship begins at 10:00 a.m., with gathering songs and announcements. The music in our service is blended, using a combination of the more traditional hymns and newer, contemporary music.

In Disciple tradition, every Sunday we celebrate the Lord's Supper, the heart of our worship service. We believe in the unity of all Christians, and our table is open to all persons who worship with us.

The prayers of the community are a particularly meaningful aspect of our service, and members and friends alike are invited light a candle and share joys, blessings, and concerns that they wish to lift up in prayer.

TO FIND US:  Most Sundays we worship in Mahany Hall of the San Carlos Community UCC, located at Arroyo Avenue, San Carlos.  On occasion we will worship in other locations, so it is best to check with us before Sunday to ascertain our worship location that week.  Please email to info@ChaliceChristian.org or call 650-638-9643.
