DESCRIPTION:Throughout Lent\, you are invited to participate in the Intergenerational Discipleship Class. Traditionally called “Pastor’s Class” to prepare young people for baptism\, this class invites people of all ages and stages to get together to talk about what it means to be an active part of God’s Church in 2024. \nWhile there is a hope for people to prepare for their baptism\, this is not the only intention. You are invited if you were baptized as an infant or you were immersed at a later date\, or if you have never been baptized\, you are invited to come and learn together! \nEach week\, after worship\, we will gather in the courtyard (weather permitting) to discuss the theme for the week. The themes and dates are: \n  \nFebruary 18: Being Christian and a part of Chalice Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)\nMarch 3: Being a Disciple (A)\nMarch 10: Being Disciple (B)\nMarch 17: Church Celebrations and Traditions (rituals and sacraments)\nMarch 24: Living a faithful life: What does all of this have to do with our daily lives?\nPlease note that February 25th is the day of Pastor Jay’s installation\, and will not be having class that day.
