For Visitors

Welcome! If you’re a first time visitor to Chalice, here are some answers to questions you may have:

What time does church start?

Worship is at 10 a.m. We worship in-person and online.

What do I wear?

Whatever you like! Some folks come in shorts and t-shirts and others are more formal. It’s all good.

What should I expect?

We’ll sing some songs, offer prayer requests, read from the Bible and hear a sermon, usually from Pastor Vernon.  Kids are invited to be part of corporate worship and participate in Worship and Wonder as part of that time together.

Do you offer a nursery?

Not right now.  Our kids listen to worship while coloring and/or telling worship & wonder stories in the worship space.

What makes you different from other churches?

We are a socially and theologically progressive congregation. That means we welcome all people. And all really means all. We believe God cares about our relationships with each other and the world right now.

See more about what makes us different under by checking out our YouTube Channel and Bloody Mary Bible Brunch.

Can I receive communion?

Absolutely! Christ welcomes everyone to the table and we do, too.
